Author Torry Rose grew up in Staten Island, New York, where as a child, her mother took her and her sisters on nature walks. On these walks, she heard of the ancient people and their magical, mysterious ways of communicating with all forms of living matter.  To this day, her mother’s lively folktales influence her writing style.

 

Torry now lives in New England with her family, surrounded by lush evergreens, maples, and wise old oaks, which inspire her fantasy/mystery novels for all who enjoy a good story.
